Passionate about drawing and storytelling from an early age, PepiteBooks felt like a natural fit for Léa: illustrating complex subjects in a simple way so that every parent can explain their work to their children.
Today, she holds a double Master’s degree from ECV (École de Création Visuelle), specializing in art direction for visual and digital design as well as project management in visual communication. She brings her artistic sensitivity to the world of PepiteBooks.
Through her illustrations, Léa brings each story to life, whatever the field, making technologies, professions, and innovations accessible, vivid, and engaging for younger readers. She also likes to imagine that, when she was younger, she would have loved to have a PepiteBook in her hands to discover these worlds through stories and images.
David Marchand
Trained as an optical systems engineer, David contributed to the design and development of space observation instruments aboard satellites. However, his passion for writing soon took over.
After earning a writing degree from the Sorbonne, he devoted himself fully to children’s literature and has authored more than 30 titles with various publishing houses.
Recognized for the quality of his books and his talent for making complex subjectsaccessible, David explores a wide range of fields through his work, including space, medicine, geology, and new technologies.
David was immediately enthusiastic about PepiteBooks, which allows him to bring his storytelling and science communication experience to younger audiences and nurture their curiosity.

PepiteBooks was born from a simple idea: how to explain tochildren where their parents go when they attend a conference… and, more importantly, why they go.
How to find the right words and illustrations to make these sometimes complex worlds understandable, vivid, and engaging for young readers.
With over 30 years of experience in the life sciences, medical imaging, and scientific research, Fabrice has held a variety of roles throughout his career fromsales to marketing, and including business development.
This dual experience, both scientific and entrepreneurial, now drives his mission to make technologies,professions, and innovations more accessible to everyone, especially the next generation, while inspiring future vocations.
